It’s time to add some zest to the film industry!

At this Startup Weekend creative minds from all backgrounds come together to work on new ideas in the film industry – and you should join us. No matter if you want to establish a new film format, have ideas for a new camera prototype or want to build the next Netflix – your ideas, creativity, combined with your positive way of thinking will be the foundation for something completely new, something special and very exciting.

Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics about founding companies and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community of passionate entrepreneurs with over 1200 past events in more than 100 countries around the world.

All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback.

No matter whether entrepreneurs found companies, want to find a cofounder, meet someone new, or learn a skill far outside their usual 9-to-5 jobs, everyone is guaranteed to leave the event better prepared to navigate through the chaotic but fun world of startups. If you want to put yourself in the shoes of an entrepreneur, register now for the best weekend of your life!

If you have never attended a Startup Weekend before, we promise that you will leave Startup Weekend Berlin as a more powerful person!
