You have gotten to know quite some interesting mentors so far. The NEXT programme is only hours away (ok, 2 days, but it feels just like mere hours), so here we go with another mentors: Timo Glaser. He is the owner and CEO of commehr which envisions an IT landscape that is easy to understand. Timo basically revolutionized the customer services of commehr, but read for yourself about the visionary:
To get to know you a bit better: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you coming from, what did you do and what did you study?
I grew up in Berlin which is still one of my favorite cities in the world. After school, I studied computer science in Berlin and Shanghai. During my time in China, I founded an experience sharing network with local chapters all over Asia. Afterwards, I completed my PhD in the field of information security, worked in the field of knowledge and process management and founded two companies. My main locations were Berlin, Shanghai, Zurich and Ghana. Today, I lead a Berlin-based system integrator, providing centrally-managed IT-services for medium-sized businesses – especially for the German startup and e-commerce community.
On a professional level: How do you define success in business? What was your biggest success?
